M3 Engineering & Technology is seeking a Structural Engineer to perform design, analysis, and detailing for various industrial, institutional, and commercial buildings. The role involves structural modeling, drafting, and overseeing the development of structural drawings, while also interacting with detailers and preparing project reports.

Responsibilities

Structural design, analysis, calculations, 3D modeling and drafting for various industrial, institutional buildings and other structures as assigned
Assistance in design, field investigations, field engineering, material take-offs, surveys, and studies to complete project goals
Assisting in the preparation of project reports and construction documents and reviewing documents prepared by others
Overseeing and providing direction on the design and development of structural models and structural drawings and specifications
The position will also interact directly with structural steel detailers through the development of detailed models and drawings

Required

A minimum of 2 years' related engineering experience is required and an EIT
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, with an emphasis on structures
Experience preparing and editing construction documents
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, RISA 3D, Tekla, and MS Office
Candidates must be able to travel, domestically & internationally, to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects
Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detail-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills
Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision
A valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required

Preferred

PE
Experience with multidisciplinary design and construction projects
