Hotel Area Small Market Sales Manager
Grand Hyatt is focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences to its guests. The Area Small Market Sales Manager will be responsible for selling to smaller and mid-sized group markets, managing accounts, and conducting site inspections, while also preparing proposals and coordinating customer service requirements.

Responsibilities
Selling guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to customer groups
Managing accounts
Conducting site inspections
Soliciting and generating business
Preparing and presenting effective proposals
Maintaining well organized documentation and reports
Utilizing Hyatt systems
Coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate
Participating and may lead event meetings, sales and other staff meetings
Working as a team member with the sales and catering staff
Working in close contact with an assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff
Qualification
Required
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
Refined verbal and written communication skills
A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience
Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
Preferred
Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training
Selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training
