The role involves monitoring construction operations for compliance, performing field testing, preparing reports, and communicating site deficiencies to project managers and contractors.

Responsibilities
Monitoring construction operations to determine compliance with project plans and specifications
Performing field testing on construction materials to ensure that materials and procedures comply with project plans and specifications
Preparing Daily Field Reports
Reporting deficiencies observed in the field
Performing complex quantity and engineering computations
Communicating effectively on site deficiencies to in-house project managers, contractors and/or client representatives as the project requires
Interpreting drawings and documents, including work orders, build documents and manufacturing processes
Performing all other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or similar
Ability to perform basic quantity and engineering computations, and to read and interpret plans and specifications
Functional proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills
A valid driver's license and a personal vehicle for site inspections
