IT Specialist
The University of New Mexico is seeking a student to work alongside their Technical Analyst in the Department of Psychiatry. The role involves providing support for ongoing and new IT projects, as well as managing access databases and assisting users with technical issues.

Assisting students, faculty, and staff with computer-related troubleshooting
Providing general technical guidance, assistance, and maintenance support to end users, as requested, on diverse software applications, operating systems, and hardware systems
Setting up and imaging new computer systems and peripherals
Inventory management for all department assets
Qualification
Required
Basic computer skills
Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Familiarity with iPad and iPhone devices
Ability to set up printers and HDTVs
Ability to interact with and clearly communicate with students, faculty and staff in a professional manner
Ability to learn
Commitment to long-term growth in the position
Desire to be of assistance
Preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
