Slalom Flex (Project Based) – Product Owner

Responsibilities
Define product vision and roadmap for the loan servicing platform aligned to business objectives
Identify opportunities to leverage GenAI to improve servicing operations, agent productivity, and customer experience
Balance priorities across platform build, architecture modernization, and AI integration to optimize value delivery
Own and prioritize the product backlog with clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and definition of done
Lead agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews/demos, and retrospectives
Make data‑driven trade‑off decisions on feature prioritization based on business value, customer impact, and operational risk
Act as primary liaison between business stakeholders, operations, compliance, and delivery teams
Translate business outcomes into technical requirements and non‑functional needs (security, scalability, resiliency)
Facilitate demos and feedback sessions to ensure alignment, adoption, and continuous improvement
Collaborate with architecture and engineering to establish scalable, secure platform foundations (APIs, microservices, eventing, data pipelines)
Define use cases and success criteria for GenAI (e.g., document processing, customer communications, decision support/agent assist)
Monitor AI model performance (precision/recall, hallucination rate, latency, cost) and drive iterative improvements with responsible AI practices
Qualification
Required
5+ years of product management experience, preferably in financial services or automotive finance
Proven delivery of complex platforms or enterprise software solutions in cross‑functional environments
Working knowledge of loan servicing operations and Agile/Scrum methodologies
Understanding of modern platform architecture (cloud services, APIs, microservices, event‑driven design) and GenAI capabilities
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; adept at executive‑level storytelling with data
CSPO (or equivalent product certification)
Experience with loan servicing platforms and AI/ML implementations (LLM‑powered workflows, intelligent automation)
Familiarity with automotive lending regulations and servicing compliance considerations
Client‑facing presence with the ability to facilitate workshops, uncover pain points, and convert them into actionable product outcomes
Comfortable leading in ambiguous environments; sets up product OKRs/KPIs, release plans, and governance rhythms
Skilled at change enablement and adoption planning with operations, contact center leadership, and compliance partners
Pragmatic focus on time‑to‑value and measurable impact (e.g., reduced handling time, improved self‑service, fewer servicing exceptions)
