Atrium is a people-centric organization that fosters collaboration and innovation. They are seeking a Grant Accountant responsible for managing the financial aspects of grants and contracts, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, and collaborating with program managers.

Responsibilities
Monitor and track grant expenditures to ensure compliance with funding guidelines
Prepare and submit financial reports to grantors and internal stakeholders
Assist with grant budget development and modifications
Reconcile grant accounts and ensure accurate allocation of expenses
Maintain documentation for audits and reporting requirements
Collaborate with program managers to review spending and forecast needs
Ensure timely invoicing and drawdowns from funding sources
Stay current on federal, state, and private grant regulations
Support year-end close and external audits related to grants
Recommend improvements to grant accounting processes and systems
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in grant accounting or nonprofit financial management
Knowledge of federal grant regulations (Uniform Guidance / OMB Circulars)
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Blackbaud, Oracle, Workday, or similar)
Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and financial reporting
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
Experience working with restricted funds and fund accounting
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Preferred
CPA or CGFM certification is a plus
