Integration Innovation, Inc. (i3) is dedicated to helping military personnel transition to civilian careers through the DoD SkillBridge program. They are seeking a Graphic Designer intern who will collaborate with delivery teams to design, develop, and implement customer training software while gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Specialization in producing high-fidelity 2D graphics

Craft motion graphics and ensure implementation by software engineers is solid

Design for desktop-based and/or tablet-based UIs

Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with software engineers and other stakeholders

Illustrate design ideas to product stakeholders using mockups as needed

Provide feedback to software engineers as designs are implemented to ensure user experience is cohesive and accurate

Regularly workshop efforts with the Creative Director and the Creative Operations team to maintain a cohesive design and user experience of the digital product

Leverage design thinking and questioning techniques to develop strategies where pathways are not always clear

Required

Must be a current Active Duty Servicemember

Must be separating from the Military within 180 days

Will receive an honorable discharge

Must be able to complete 40 hours per week

Willingness to learn from others on the job

Received Unit Commander written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of internship

Bachelors' Degree in Graphic Design or related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree

Working knowledge and skill in design tools, for example, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects, and/or other Adobe Creative Suite products

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts clearly and persuasively across audiences at various levels of understanding

Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills

Ability to work with other designers and developers to implement new ideas

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
