Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of tax returns, extensions, quarterly estimated tax payments

Assist with creating and requesting checks and mailing federal and state estimated tax vouchers

Preparation of household employer payroll tax filings

Process electronic filing of tax returns

Maintain tax refunds ledger

Gain/Loss review and comparison

Maintain tax database for tracking of all client deadlines and filings

Tax reporting system data maintenance

Printing, collation and mailing of tax returns to clients

Scanning/organizing electronic tax docs

Printing and mailing notices to the IRS and State agencies

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's Degree with major in Accounting

Must be able to meet 150 credit requirement for CPA eligibility

Assist in the preparation of tax returns, extensions, quarterly estimated tax payments

Assist with creating and requesting checks and mailing federal and state estimated tax vouchers

Preparation of household employer payroll tax filings

Process electronic filing of tax returns

Maintain tax refunds ledger

Gain/Loss review and comparison

Maintain tax database for tracking of all client deadlines and filings

Tax reporting system data maintenance

Preferred

Master's Degree highly preferred

Knowledge of or previous experience working with ProSystem Tax or OneSource Trust Tax is a plus
