Responsibilities

Collaborate on at least one major research project with a Brennan School of Business faculty member
Share teaching expertise with Brennan’s faculty members through the Dialogues on Teaching
Share research expertise with Brennan’s faculty members through the Dialogues on Research
Prepare and deliver, in collaboration with a Brennan faculty member, a presentation of their joint research efforts at an academic conference
Participate as a presenter in one of Brennan’s outreach efforts to share his/her areas of research expertise with business and community leaders
Submit for publication an article to a Peer Reviewed Journal (PRJ) with a Brennan faculty member
When appropriate, the Chair may engage in teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level – whether as a guest lecturer or as the teacher-of-record in, for example, an intensive seminar-like course
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor

Ph.D. in BusinessEconomicsResearch expertiseCollaborative researchMentoring facultyTeaching experienceCommunication skillsLeadership skills

Required

Terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D.) in Business or Economics
Demonstrated research expertise and scholarly recognition in a business-related discipline

Preferred

Expertise in one of the following academic disciplines will also be considered and are encouraged to apply: Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, International Business, Management, and Marketing
Record of collaborative research with faculty and contribution to peer-reviewed scholarship
Experience in mentoring faculty and advancing scholarly activity
Ability to engage in teaching (undergraduate or graduate) as appropriate
