Responsibilities

Develop backend services that can run in public clouds or on bare metal: you will architect, design, implement, and own new cloud services
Ensure high availability and scalability of services: systems you design must be reliable, resilient, and be able to handle large user load without failure
Ensure that new services you develop or existing services you might wind up maintaining and/or taking ownership of are deployable, monitor-able, and supportable by hooking them into existing DevOps frameworks

Required

Deep experience with Linux development environment
5+ years of experience in software development using C/C++
3+ years of experience in software development using Golang
5+ years of experience in bash and python
2+ years in Docker as well as HashiCorp's Nomad & Consul, or in K8S
Strong communication skills
Must be able to work legally for any employer in the respective country
Bachelor degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, BUT we will also consider industry-based experience

Preferred

Intricate experience in Linux administration
Previous experience as DevOps engineer ( 3+ years )
Huge Advantage: provable experience putting together a Linux distro
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
Passionate and is not afraid of steep learning curves
