Responsibilities

Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed specifications for software developers

Work closely with developers, testers, and system engineers to ensure clear understanding of requirements and business context

Conduct requirements walkthroughs, backlog grooming, and sprint planning sessions

Assist in developing workflows, process maps, and data models to support solution design

Validate delivered functionality against requirements through reviews, demonstrations, and testing support

Maintain and manage requirements documentation, traceability matrices, and change control processes

Support Agile ceremonies and help drive continuous improvement in requirements processes

Act as a subject matter expert on system capabilities and business processes within the DISA environment

Required

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years' experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree

Active DoD Secret Clearance required

3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Analyst, or similar role supporting software development projects

Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies

Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements

Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills

Proficiency with requirements management tools such as Jira, Confluence, DOORS, or similar

3 + years of related experience
