Responsibilities
The position will focus on two areas of practice: 1) general transactional law, contract review, and litigation matters; and 2) administrative law, with a focus on state energy regulatory matters
The ideal candidate for this position should have an interest in energy law generally, transactional law, administrative law, contracts, and business matters specifically
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, flexible, a quick learner, highly motivated, able to accept assignments from multiple sources, and a good team player
Accordingly, candidates must possess strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills
Lastly, candidates must be detail oriented
Qualification
Required
Completed first-year or second-year law studies at an accredited U.S. law school (by the time the internship begins)
Submit a cover letter, resume and writing sample
All students must attach a transcript providing proof of at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA for consideration
All students must attach transcripts and verification of college/university enrollment at the time of application to begin or continue employment
Candidates must be a self-starter, flexible, a quick learner, highly motivated and a good team player
Candidates must possess strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills
Candidates must be detail oriented
Preferred
