Early Career Laboratory Support Technologist, Pulsed Power - Onsite

Responsibilities

Clean and rebuild components for pulsed power systems
Troubleshoot existing components for faults
Develop new processes to improve efficiency and safety
Maintenance and repair of pulsed power systems within oil/water tank
Maintain and operate pulsed power component testers
Work within a beryllium contaminated area
Use safe practices for all processes
Represent the ESS/PFS team during Z shot processes
Reach out across the division to support and build relationships
Assisting with Laser Trigger System (LTS) in ESS tank

Qualification

Required

High school graduate
Experience with electrical or mechanical systems
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance

Preferred

Experience with laser systems
Experience with pressure systems
