The Data Analytics Intern will support predictive failure analysis by managing and acquiring data, building data models, and applying big data analytics techniques to improve manufacturing quality.

Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources (SPC, RMA, production, testing)
Work with stakeholders to understand analytical requirements & translate them into data models
Perform statistical analysis and correlation studies to identify patterns and root causes
Apply big data analytics techniques to extract insights and trends
Develop algorithms for anomaly detection and predictive failure analysis
Document processes, findings, and models for knowledge sharing and future reference
Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis
Knowledge of SQL and database management
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and predictive modeling
Ability to visualize data using tools like R, Python, Power BI, Tableau or similar
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
Preferred
Prior exposure to data analytics projects (academic or internship) preferred
Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus
Knowledge of manufacturing and quality concepts is a plus
