Responsibilities
Responsible for training and development of new Quality Inspectors
Responsible for consistency of QI of hourly Quality Inspector performance
Ensures hourly employees have the resources needed to perform job functions
Provides candid feedback on day to day Quality Inspector performance as well as providing input on yearly evaluations
Performs Inbound Customer Inspections to validate quality of case, pallet and load inbound to RJW
Responsible for strategy and execution of departmental cross-training
Owns responsibility of driving awareness/education/adherence to Retailer's standards
Drive and implement improved processes and conduct special projects as guided by direct leadership
Displays ability to lead and develop a team showing all respect and displays an ability to motivate and accomplish goals
Qualification
Required
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English
Ability to display proficiency in both oral and written routine reports and correspondence
Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures, and contractual obligations
Ability to physically count and validate inventory
Utilize computer terminal/scan gun accurately to document defects identified
High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
Further ability to apply and put that knowledge into action as inspections are performed
Ability to read and write emails
Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets
Forklift certification a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
