Post Doctoral Fellow (Environmental Economics)

Responsibilities
Conduct advanced non-market valuation research related to coastal management under climate change scenarios
Design and implement surveys and experiments to assess public preferences for adaptation and economic impacts
Perform hedonic price analyses to evaluate the impacts of climate change on coastal property values
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to project planning, data analysis, and dissemination of results
Prepare research findings for academic publications, policy briefs, and presentations at professional conferences and stakeholder meetings
Mentor undergraduate and graduate students
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
PhD in Economics, Applied Economics, Environmental Economics, or related field
Strong background in environmental and resource economics, with specific expertise in non-market valuation and the economics of ecosystem services
Proficiency in econometric methods (particularly as applied to environmental data and non-market valuation techniques)
Experience with survey and lab experiment design and implementation (particularly stated and revealed preference elicitation methods)
Proven track record of publication or high-quality research output
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with written communication skills
Ability to work with diverse groups/populations
Preferred
Knowledge of coastal management, ecosystem functions, and climate change adaptation
