Responsibilities
Responsible for engineering studies and technical assistance for storm water quality monitoring and best management practices (BMP) development projects related to Caltrans functional areas such as Design, Construction, and Maintenance
Identifying issues and developing recommendations related to stormwater quality and BMP development
Leading or assisting in tasks for developing stormwater quality monitoring and BMP development policies and guidance
Identifying issues and developing recommendations related to stormwater quality, BMP development, new treatment technologies and State and Federal 'Clean Water Act' related permitting in California and other issues related to project delivery
Qualification
Required
Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle
Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required. Failure to submit a Statement of Qualifications will disqualify candidates from the hiring process
Describe your knowledge and experience with compliance with water quality. Include the amount of time (in months and years) and the employer, college, and/or volunteer work you gained that experience with
Describe your experience with the State Contract Task Order development, Task Order implementation, and working with consultants, or any other similar contract management experience. Include the amount of time (in month and years)
Describe your experience where you worked with internal and external stakeholders, worked as part of a team, prepared reports, and delivered presentations. Include the amount of time (in month and years)
Describe your experience with the study, design, construction, and/or maintenance of post-construction stormwater treatment best management practices (BMPs). Include the amount of time (in months and years)
