Responsibilities
Performing routine maintenance on automotive fleet equipment, such as changing light bulbs, hoses, clamps, filters, and tires
Replacing or recharging batteries and checking fluid levels
Assisting mechanics with more complex repairs, including engine rebuilds, heating and cooling systems, transmissions, clutches, brake systems, and hydraulic systems
Conducting basic body repair work
Supporting the storeroom operations by retrieving parts as necessary
Contributing to the maintenance and repair of the building and grounds
Exercising independent judgment regarding repair needs and methods after receiving work orders that outline specific issues
Providing daily updates to your supervisor on the status of the equipment you are responsible for
Promptly informing them when a task is completed
Qualification
Required
You must be able to perform essential job functions
You must possess an active non-commercial Pennsylvania Class C driver's license or equivalent
Preferred
Experience with Mechanics
Currently residing in Wayne County or are willing to relocate to Wayne County prior to employment is preferred
