The role will involve working across various teams including Purchasing, Planning, and Logistics to optimize supply chain processes and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities
Implement and manage strategies to provide Tesla with optimal supply assurance, pricing, flexibility, quality and delivery performance
Build and leverage strong working relationships with engineering teams and key suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met
Negotiate, evaluate and issue RFx and PO’s for assigned commodities
Help design the process of material handling equipment and technological systems to unlock efficient and creative material flows
Drive business process through encouragement and craft tools and strategies to enable cost efficiencies
Lead efforts to develop material flow standards and principles for Tesla’s facilities
Support supply chain planning operations and optimize parameters to improve supply chain efficiency
Ensure partners are provided with excellent service throughout the shipment process including quick response to inquiries and problem resolution
Drive excellence through regular meetings with third party logistics partners
Mitigate 'one-offs' requests but know how and when to partner and execute unusual requests
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field
Ability to successfully work with cross range of teams including purchasing, software engineering, UX, legal, finance, sales and operations
Working experience (inclusive of internships). Product management work experience is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communications across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft tools (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, MS Teams), JIRA, Confluence or similar tools/technologies
Preferred
Knowledge of SQL and Tableau is a plus
