Responsibilities
Commercial Video Production
Shoot product-forward commercial video for CPG campaigns (beauty, lifestyle, consumer goods)
Shoot story-driven commercials for service-based brands and organizations
Light with intention for conversion: texture, color accuracy, reflective surfaces, skin tones, macro detail
Capture studio and on-location footage with consistency and continuity
Execute against creative briefs that include hook, offer, CTA, and audience, not just aesthetics
Commercial Photography (Product & People)
Shoot high-quality product photography for web, social, email, paid media, and launch campaigns
Photograph people, talent, and environments with clean, flattering, brand-aligned lighting
Maintain color accuracy and consistency across products, skin tones, and materials
Execute both studio and on-location photo shoots with intention and efficiency
Retouch and refine imagery to commercial standards without over-processing
Campaign Execution & Asset Systems
Deliver complete campaign asset suites, including:
Hero videos and hero images
Video cutdowns and photo variations
Platform-specific formats and aspect ratios
Alternate hooks, intros, and supporting visuals
Revision rounds aligned to campaign strategy
Maintain clean, reliable production systems:
Shot lists and creative briefs
File naming and folder structure
Backups and version control
Frame.io review cycles
Organized handoff to internal teams
Hit deadlines confidently within production schedules tied directly to campaign calendars
Post-Production
Edit short-form and long-form commercial video in Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve
Perform color correction and grading to commercial standards
Handle basic audio cleanup and leveling for dialogue and voiceover
Retouch and refine photography for web, social, and paid usage
Deliver polished, platform-optimized exports ready for distribution
Feedback & Revisions
Receive and implement creative feedback quickly and professionally
Navigate multiple revision rounds with clarity, focus, and zero ego
Understand that refinement is part of building work that performs
Qualification
Required
3+ years of commercial video and photography experience
Demonstrated ability to deliver full campaign asset suites, not single assets
Strong studio lighting fundamentals for both video and photography
Experience photographing products and people in controlled and mixed environments
Proficiency with mirrorless and/or cinema camera systems
Strong photo retouching and color consistency skills
Excellent workflow discipline (file organization, naming, backups, versioning)
Comfortable managing multiple active client accounts in a fast-paced agency environment
Able to work in-person in Fort Collins, CO or commute reliably
Macro product photography
DaVinci Resolve color workflows (nodes, scopes, shot matching)
Advanced beauty retouching techniques
Basic audio engineering (lavs, room tone, dialogue cleanup)
Preferred
FAA Part 107 drone certification
