Responsibilities

Conduct non-clinical compliance audits on operational and financial information to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards
Develop audit reports and identify areas of non-compliance, provide recommendations and request corrective actions
Assist Director, and DCCO with data analysis of internal audits, investigations as requested, in addition to preparing findings
Assist in the development and delivery of targeted educational materials based on internal audit findings and corrective action plans
Stay updated on state and federal regulations
Assist in Triple Check development, training and enhancements to improve compliance and accuracy in billing and coding practices

Required

Bachelors or Masters degree
Minimum of 3 years of experience in coding compliance auditing
Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to healthcare billing and coding
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Advanced Excel skills required
