Responsibilities

Providing daily assistance to the Human Resources Executive Director by compiling reports, scheduling volunteers, making telephone calls, responding to emails, organizing and filing paperwork, completing background checks, and helping with everyday tasks as needed

Entering/updating volunteer and intern data into the computer

Collecting, scanning, documenting, and filing volunteer and intern applications and immunizations

Completing background checks

Making volunteer badge requests

Preparing/scheduling rooms for Short Term Orientation as needed

Compiling volunteer packets

Assisting with other MH projects as needed

Working closely with Departmental Directors to understand their needs for Volunteers and Interns is critical to this role

Qualification

Interpersonal communicationOrganizational skillsTyping proficiencyDocument managementBasic knowledge of WordBasic knowledge of ExcelTelephone skills

Required

Interpersonal communications skills, both verbally and written

Organizational skills

Typing proficiency of 40 WPM, basic knowledge of Word and Excel, and strong telephone skills

Effective filing and document management skills

High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred

Previous secretary/clerical experience preferred
