Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate annual budget planning and execution for multiple R&D functions
Analyze spending trends and resource utilization to provide actionable insights
Partner with Strategic Planning and Operations Leads to prioritize and implement annual budget plans
Liaise with Finance on quarterly, year-end, and ad hoc reporting deliverables
Guide contract management activities and resolve escalated procure-to-pay issues
Support analytics for functional and cross-functional initiatives
Contribute to the transition of budget management processes to a global, harmonized solution
Develop and deliver clear communications to support organizational change initiatives
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated proficiency with data visualization tools
Executive presence with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work autonomously and manage projects or budgets
Proven experience in project management, business operations, or budget coordination roles
Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive-level engagement
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities
Self-driven, proactive approach with the ability to work independently
Preferred
Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience
Experience with financial reporting and forecasting
General familiarity with drug development processes and R&D functions
Proficiency with Smartsheet, MS Teams, SAP, Ariba, and Anaplan
Strong attention to detail and ability to influence in a matrixed organization
Experience delivering communications that drive organizational change
Fast learner with demonstrated initiative
