Responsibilities
Manage and monitor the IT ticketing system, ensuring tickets are logged, prioritized, assigned, and resolved in a timely manner
Assign tickets to appropriate technicians based on workload, skill set, and urgency
Track time entries for field technicians and ensure accurate documentation of work performed
Coordinate and manage technicians’ calendars, schedules, and daily work assignments
Serve as a point of contact between the IT team, field technicians, and internal stakeholders
Follow up on open tickets and ensure service-level expectations are met
Maintain accurate records, reports, and metrics related to tickets, time tracking, and technician productivity
Assist with basic IT tasks such as troubleshooting, documentation, and user support as needed
Support IT management with administrative and operational tasks
Qualification
Required
Basic background in IT support or related technical field
Experience working with IT ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, Freshservice, or similar)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Comfortable coordinating schedules and communicating with multiple technicians
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Outlook/Calendar, etc.)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in tracking time and assignments
Preferred
Previous experience in IT operations, dispatching, or technical coordination
Familiarity with time-tracking systems and reporting
Understanding of basic networking, hardware, and software support concepts
