Responsibilities
Assist supervisory staff in training new employees
Back up animal care technicians as required
Coordinate and order supplies
Enter information into databases
Inform Supervisor or Manager of problems
Audit work of Animal Care Technicians, including line audits, SOP compliance, and recordkeeping and packing accuracy
Ensure that production goals are met, initiate changes if necessary
Provide input to supervisor on performance of Animal Care Technicians
Create documents, including COPC and E-Pack
Hold daily huddles with Barrier Leaders
Promote a positive work environment
Qualification
Required
Associate degree (A. A.) from two-year college or technical school, or technical/managerial experience at an equivalent level
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience and/or training
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to all levels of an organization
Ability to effectively relay information in one-on-one and/or small group situations
Ability to listen attentively and understand other people's points of view
Preferred
AALAS certifications, LVT/CVT preferred
