Senior Compliance Represenative Lead
The California Franchise Tax Board is seeking a Senior Compliance Representative Lead to support the Filing Enforcement Section. The role involves providing quality review, technical support, and data analysis while participating in team projects to enhance departmental goals.

Responsibilities
Provides quality review and provides feedback to technicians on various workloads, including quality assurance and correspondence
Independently performs complex filing enforcement activities
Provides technical support to staff to resolve filing enforcement issues
Analyzes data and trends and makes recommendations
Participates as a team member with peers and others to identify and resolve work-related issues
Participates on section and enterprise projects and teams consistent with the department’s mission and values
Qualification
Required
Experience working as a team leader where coaching and development of others was exhibited as part of leadership responsibility
Experience developing and editing training and procedural material
Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work, and willingness to shift priorities to meet program goals
Experience with Personal Income Tax (PIT) laws, policies, and procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities, manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines while providing exceptional customer service
Knowledge of Franchise Tax Board (FTB) systems such as Taxpayer Information (TI), Enterprise Tax System (ETS) including Taxpayer Folder (TPF) and Case Management (CM), Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), Lexis Nexis, Integrated Nonfiler Compliance (INC), and CC Pulse
Ability to work independently and in a team environment while demonstrating initiative, integrity, dependability, ownership, and accountability
Positive, self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful
Ability to effectively train staff in person and virtually in both a group setting and 1:1
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively analyze issues, define problems, and recommend effective solutions
