Responsibilities
Manage the project throughout its lifecycle, including creating and maintaining the project record, ensuring quality and timely updates, and managing project spend
Develop and manage the project schedule, including defining project activities, estimating their duration, sequencing them, and monitoring and controlling the schedule to ensure timely project completion
Ensure all required data is entered into the system, including project name, description, program, project manager, planned start and end dates, and business units involved
Identify and manage relationships with all project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and managing their involvement and influence throughout the project lifecycle
Define and manage the project scope to ensure that all required work is completed and no unnecessary work is included. This involves creating a detailed project scope statement, managing scope changes, and ensuring that the project remains aligned with its objectives
Ensure that the project meets the required quality standards by planning quality management activities, performing quality assurance and control, and continuously improving project processes and outcomes
Ensure effective communication within the project team and with external stakeholders by developing a communication plan, managing information flow, and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged
Actively manage the risks and issues related to the project, including identifying potential risks, creating mitigation plans, and converting risks to issues if they occur
Manage the project's financials, including cost plans, expense lines, and benefit plans. Track and monitor costs and benefits, ensuring that cost plans do not exceed the project budget, and update financial plans regularly
Capture the forecasted resources required for effective project execution, submit resource plans at an early stage, and modify them as needed throughout the project
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Ensure that meetings are productive and time-boxed, and that all team members have the opportunity to contribute
Coach the Scrum team on Agile principles and practices, helping them to understand and implement Scrum effectively
Mentor team members on their roles and responsibilities within the Scrum framework
Track and report on key Agile metrics, such as velocity, burn-down charts, and cycle time
Ensure that the team adheres to Agile principles and practices
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in project management, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
Proven experience as a Scrum Master, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure
Preferred
PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred
