Morrison Foerster is seeking a Client Account Specialist to join their Financial Operations team. In this role, you will work closely with attorneys and clients on billing, e-billing, and collections, ensuring timely and accurate billing processes.

Responsibilities

Produce timely and accurate bills for clients, including e-bills, and perform specific billing and e-billing tasks and projects

Manage quality control, deadlines, timely reporting on billing status, and thoroughly analyze special billing arrangements

Act as a resource for internal clients and colleagues, troubleshoot procedural issues, and assist systems team with upgrades and testing

May directly support assigned billing attorneys in full cycle of account management, including account set up, billing and collection arrangements, and inventory management

Required

Minimum of two years in law firm or professional services billing

Strong financial systems skills. (Elite 3E, eBillingHub)

Ability to understand and analyze billing information and historical data

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions with high degree of accuracy

Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels within and outside the Firm

Preferred

Large law firm experience preferred

Experience working with multi-currency bills a plus
