Engineering Technician - Public Works (Part-Time)
Commerce City is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the Public Works Department through technical and administrative tasks. This role involves project planning, design, construction, inspections, and data collection to ensure successful project completion.

Responsibilities
Performing a variety of technical engineering tasks in support of project planning, design, construction, inspections, asset inventory/data collection, and Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) request responses
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Surveying (or closely related field)
Five or more years' experience in computer drafting, research, surveying, design, and GIS or asset management experience using ArcGIS
Experience using engineering software such as AutoCad Map, ArcGIS and/or ArcMAP
Must have a valid Colorado Drivers License or have the ability to obtain within 30 days from the date of hire

Eligibility for Pay Increases: Employees are eligible for a pay increase around the time of their annual appraisal following a successful evaluation.
