Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow revenue within existing accounts and identify new business opportunities
Leverage existing industry relationships and contacts to accelerate business development and open doors with key accounts
Formulate, present, and implement a territory strategy to continually grow sales revenues for the territory, across multiple industries
Solidify and nurture strategic customer relationships for short- and long-term gain
Cultivate, develop, and manage customer opportunities and projects from inception to completion
Conduct frequent visits to target accounts to promote Martin Bauer's products and services
Communicate and partner with internal technical teams to develop innovative solutions that meet evolving customer needs
Prepare and deliver customer insights and territory performance reports on a regular basis
Provide input and feedback to the Marketing teams in an effort to fine tune marketing campaigns and promotional materials
Represent the company at regional and national trade show events as needed

Required

Proven experience in B2B ingredient/solutions sales
5+ years of business development experience within the nutritional supplement and flavor solutions industry
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education level
Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building expertise
Ability to plan, organize and execute a sales strategy
Ability to travel 50%-60% of the time, as needed
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools

Preferred

Familiarity with raw materials and botanical components is highly desirable
Ideally based in NJ or surrounding states
