This role involves overseeing enterprise-wide cloud initiatives, driving the global cloud vision, and ensuring operational excellence across Azure cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Direct and manage cloud operations across multiple countries, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regional requirements

Define and implement the global cloud strategy and roadmap to support business transformation and scalability

Lead large-scale, enterprise-level cloud projects with a focus on governance, performance, and cost efficiency

Partner and collaborate with regional CIOs and senior leadership teams to align regional initiatives with global objectives

Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to a distributed team of cloud experts, fostering technical excellence and professional growth

Establish and enforce best practices for cloud operations, security, compliance, and financial management

Identify and implement automation and optimization opportunities to enhance efficiency and service reliability

Participate in international travel, approximately six weeks per year, to support regional teams and initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT, including at least 5 to 7 years in cloud management or related leadership roles

Proven experience managing global or multi-region cloud operations and transformation programs

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure

Demonstrated success in defining and executing cloud strategies and roadmaps at enterprise scale

Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly with senior executives and CIO-level leadership

Experience managing and developing geographically distributed technical teams

In-depth understanding of cloud governance, security, and cost optimization frameworks

Preferred

Master's degree is preferred

Exposure to AWS or GCP is an advantage

Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, PMP, or ITIL are highly desirable
