Responsibilities
Support the principal designer through all phases of design, from concept to installation
Prepare and maintain project documentation (presentations, moodboards, finish & material schedules, orders, budgets, etc)
Communicate with vendors, showrooms, and trades for quotes, order tracking, coordinating deliveries, and gathering information as needed
Assist with product research and inspired sourcing of furnishings, lighting, accessories, fixtures, finishes, and material options
Prepare detailed furniture and construction plans, elevations, millwork details, and drawing sets in AutoCAD, according to standard practice
Occasionally travel to project sites, showrooms, or warehouses
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or related fields is preferred
Proficiency in the following: Google platform, Canva, Asana or other task management software, Dropbox
Minimum 2+ years of interior design work experience
Proficient level of AutoCAD experience (minimum 2+ years is preferred)
Must have a strong attention to detail
Works well both independently and on a team
Energetic, passionate, focused, and excited about helping our studio grow
Highly organized with proven ability to prioritize and multi-task
Valid Driver's License, reliable car, and car insurance required to run errands and pick up/return items. Mileage is reimbursed
Candidates must be either a U.S. citizen or have a valid employment visa to work in the U.S. and be located in Bay Area, California
Ability to lift 30 pounds
Preferred
3D rendering skills (CAD, Sketchup or other)
Experience with Studio Designer, Design Files or other product management software, Photoshop
