Responsibilities
Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
Assist in the monthly reporting requirements
Assist with treasury (cash, AR,AP)
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
Assist with annual audit requests, providing necessary documentation and explanations
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet and general ledger accounts
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
Prepare financial schedules, reports, and supporting documentation
Analyze variances and investigate discrepancies
Maintain accurate accounting records
Assist with fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules
Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation
Participate in process improvements and accounting system enhancements
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and deadlines
Perform other accounting duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
At least 2 years' experience in an accounting position
Strong understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Experience with accounting/ERP systems preferred (e.g., Paylocity, NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
