Administrative Assistant- Operations and Logistics
Caring Transitions is one of the largest providers of senior relocation, downsizing, and estate sale companies in DFW. They are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Operations and Logistics Assistant to ensure the smooth functioning of operations, focusing on shipping, inventory management, and logistical support.
Family
Responsibilities
Pack, label, and ship outgoing items efficiently and accurately. Track shipments and communicate with clients regarding shipping status
Generate and prepare invoices for completed jobs and sales, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients
Order supplies as needed, maintain appropriate stock levels, and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages
Keep accurate records of inventory, track usage on each job, and conduct regular inventory counts. Create and update numbers and color-coding for tape used in projects
Assist in scheduling staff for auctions and other operational needs, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts and events
Set up for new auctions, close out completed auctions, and ensure all logistics are handled efficiently
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Superb communication skills
Preferred
Associate degree preferred
Three years of office management, logistics and operations experience preferred
