Responsibilities

Partner with Program Teams – Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external small‑business suppliers across multiple air‑systems programs
Data‑Driven Forecasting – Build, maintain, and analyze spend forecasts, EACs, and SB‑plan metrics; produce actionable insights for senior leadership
Reporting & Dashboard Management – Own the end‑to‑end government reporting process (SB‑share, NAICS, CPAR), develop/refresh Tableau or Power BI dashboards, and ensure buyers have real‑time visibility to place purchase orders on schedule
Process Improvement – Identify gaps, design short‑term “quick‑win” solutions and long‑term automation (bots, tool‑set enhancements) that reduce manual effort and eliminate repeat challenges
Training & Enablement – Design and deliver targeted training sessions and documentation for the supply‑chain community on small‑business policies, compliance, and best‑practice procurement workflows
Stakeholder Engagement – Represent the team in internal briefings, external supplier briefings, and occasional speaking engagements (conferences, supplier forums)
Travel & Presence – Support occasional site visits and supplier meetings (≤ 20 % travel) while enjoying a flexible hybrid work schedule

Required

3 to 5 years of experience in aerospace, defense, or a related procurement environment
Proven analytical skills – comfortable with large data sets, Excel/VBA, and visualization tools (such as Tableau)
Audit experience such as supporting DCMA, DCAA or other audit environments
Prior experience leading teams and/or projects

Preferred

Direct experience with SBA set-aside programs, FAR/DFARS, or other government contracting regulations
Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, EDE, or similar ERP systems
Prior experience delivering training or facilitating workshops for supply-chain teams
Existing security clearance (desired but not required)
Negotiations or contracts experience, any work in focus groups, networking and conferences is also a plus
Strong written and verbal communication – able to explain complex rules in plain language
Self-starter with a growth mindset; can juggle multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-pace environment
