Responsibilities
Coding in HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP for complex WordPress websites
Creating new landing pages and updating frontend content
Building, updating, and maintaining WordPress websites of various complexities
Backing up and updating plugins on client websites
Managing and maintaining healthy code environments on Local, Staging, and Production environments
Helping with website security measures, including backup management, website cleaning, etc
Managing hosting environments on Siteground, creating new websites, managing DNS records, etc
Helping manage Cloudflare account(s) and services, monitoring attacks and downtime, and adjusting WAF security rules
Qualification
Required
Proven experience working on live client websites
Ability to code HTML, CSS, jQuery or Vanilla JS, and PHP without Generative AI
Understanding of mobile responsive styling, breakpoints, and modern standards for responsive design
Experience with Git and version control
In-depth knowledge of WordPress and various themes & extensions, like Elementor, WCF and Carbon Fields
Reliability, trustworthiness, independence, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a team environment with respect towards others
Habit of self-reviewing work before handing it off for feedback
