Responsibilities
Support the Marketing Manager in the development and execution of all marketing and business development strategies
Ensure all projects are designed and delivered with the purpose of meeting the Client’s business objectives
Coordinate, write, edit, and prepare items such as statements of qualifications (SOQ) proposals, press releases, staff resumes, project descriptions, and edit and support development of management and technical approach plans
Develop proposal/project outlines and compliance documents and collaborate with management, technical personnel, and graphic designers to support marketing activities
Position may involve some PR activities, including writing press releases, organizing special events and/or conferences, and developing & writing submissions to engineering award competitions, and conducting market research and competitor analysis to support sales efforts
Support the Business Unit as needed by preparing for meetings and conference calls
Maintain databases and internal content files such as images, resumes, tables, client evaluations, etc
Collect and input marketing and sales data into computerized company tracking system—Vision—on a regular basis
Provide recommendations and plans to contribute to the optimization of marketing strategies
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of relevant marketing experience required, preferably with an engineering, architecture, or construction firm
1 year of professional writing experience required; preferably for an engineering, architectural, or construction firm
Valid Driver's License
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or Marketing preferred
