Program Manager – Embedded Systems & Controls
Cyient is seeking a seasoned Program Manager with deep embedded systems, controls, and aerospace certification experience to help build and scale their engineering delivery team supporting Collins Aerospace. This leader will oversee cross-functional program execution, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure delivery excellence across embedded software, controls, and system integration programs.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary customer interface with Collins Aerospace for program performance, risk, issues, and strategic alignment
Build strong relationships across Collins engineering, program, and leadership teams
Drive alignment across Rockford and Cedar Rapids to support future team expansion and program growth
Lead embedded software and controls program execution across requirements, design, coding, integration, verification, and certification
Ensure on-time delivery of all program commitments—scope, schedule, cost, quality
Guide cross-functional teams including systems, software, hardware, test, and compliance
Support audits, gate reviews, technical reviews, and certification milestones
Partner with internal leadership to scale embedded engineering capability in Rockford and support future Cedar Rapids build-out
Identify gaps, define resource strategies, and help recruit/mentor engineering and program staff
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across delivery, compliance, and customer interaction
Ensure adherence to aerospace certification standards including DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754, and FAA/EASA regulations
Drive compliance readiness across all phases of development and documentation
Support Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), proposals, new business capture, and follow-on work
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, or related engineering field
10+ years in embedded systems/software, controls, or aerospace engineering
5+ years managing programs or leading engineering delivery in a safety-critical environment
Proven experience working with or directly supporting Collins Aerospace programs
Demonstrated success delivering certified aerospace embedded software or controls programs
U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR restrictions
Preferred
PMP, SAFe, Agile certification
