Marketing and Content Workforce Training Assistant- Adult Education

Lewiston Public Schools is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Marketing & Content Workforce Training Assistant to support the Pre-Apprenticeship Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong design and marketing background and will be responsible for building brand awareness and creating media content for workforce training programs.

Responsibilities

Build workforce training brand awareness through various media outlets
Write press releases, publicize and promote content for distribution across social media, websites and other marketing channels
Work with workforce training team to come up with branding ideas, graphic designs, promotional materials and advertising copy
Assisting with all marketing tasks for our training programs including planning events, brainstorming creative ideas and analyzing data
Media content creator producing various forms of media, such as videos, articles, graphics, to entertain, educate, or inform a target audience
Analyze the success of workforce training marketing campaigns to ensure grant goals
Excellent communication skills, both in writing and speaking
Well organized and capable of handling day-to-day administrative marketing

Required

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field
2+ years of experience driving and executing innovative communications strategies and tactics (Social media, PR, owned media)
Excellent communication skills, both in writing and speaking
Well organized and capable of handling day-to-day administrative marketing
Passion for cutting edge design creation and an ability to juggle multiple projects and changing priorities
Ability to execute and measure multiple communications and initiatives
Experience leading and/or project managing digital campaigns across social channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
Excellent verbal, written, presentation and problem-solving skills
Ability to be flexible and precise under deadlines
Must be both a big picture strategist and possess a hands on mindset
