Responsibilities
Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
Assist customers with product inquiries, pricing, and product recommendations
Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
Provide an exceptional in-store experience to ensure customer satisfaction
Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment
Count and verify cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
Maintain cash handling procedures in accordance with company policies
Ensure the security and confidentiality of financial transactions
Assist with inside sales activities, such as promoting special offers
Maintain knowledge of current sales promotions and product features
Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals
Monitor and restock inventory as needed to ensure product availability
Assist with store merchandising
Keep the sales floor organized and well-maintained
Report inventory discrepancies or low stock levels to the supervisor
Maintain accurate records of transactions and receipts as necessary
Complete necessary paperwork and documentation
Perform opening and closing duties as required
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in a cashier or inside sales role is a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently
Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications
Ability to work in a team and thrive in a customer-oriented environment
