Responsibilities

Develop research projects and perform experiments within the Sarver Cardiovascular Research Center
Train and supervise intern, undergraduate, medical, and graduate student lab members
Work as a member of the principal investigator's research team and contribute novel hypotheses, ideas, and develop novel methodologies
Contribute and participate in the authorship of research publications and presentations
Collect, analyze and graph data, conclude research projects in a timely manner, write reports, and manuscripts
Engage in career development activities, apply for dedicated funding and contribute to lab-based grant proposals

Required

PhD or MD conferred by the start date
0-2 years of experience at Postdoc rank
demonstrated expertise in DNA repair mechanisms
expertise in radiation biology
expertise in molecular/cellular biology techniques
experience in animal handling
experience in microscopy, including fluorescence and confocal imaging

Preferred

experience in multi-omics approaches (e.g., transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics)
experience in artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) applications in biomedical research
