They are seeking a Sr Software Engineer - Integration to collaborate with teams to deliver integration solutions that support the business segments and drive innovation. The role involves working with both US and India-based teams, designing integration solutions, and solving critical support issues.

Responsibilities

Working with functional and technical teams that are both India-based and US-based

Working with application integration architects to determine integration requirements, develop solution design, develop and test interfaces

Adopting best practices in the implementation and execution of support processes

Challenging the status quo and focusing on long-term value when designing solutions

Using your technical and process aptitude to come up to speed on new tools and concepts required for integration, development and support

Solving critical support issues related to integration tools and processes

Enabling business process efficiencies through strong application of integration architecture

Participate as integration resource on small to large projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies

Identifying and implementing process improvements

Required

Programming experience in GO or Python

Experience deploying APIs and microservices in containerized environments using Kubernetes

Previous experience with SOA, Microservices, integration patterns, web services (SOAP, REST), and event-driven architecture (i.e. Kafka, Kinesis, NATS)

Previous experience in API Management such as Apigee, Kong or any other platform

Previous experience developing cloud native integration and with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)

Previous experience taking ownership of integration initiatives, setting technical direction, and leading execution

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in STEM or a related field

Previous experience with pub/sub ESB implementations

Previous experience implementing connections to various data sources using protocols such as JDBC, HTTPS, LDAP, JMS, SFTP, FTPS, EDIINT AS2, ODATA, etc

Previous experience with security standards including SAML, XACML, MASSL, OATH, WSTrust, OAUTH, OpenID Connect

Previous experience with Azure DevOps for work item tracking and CI/CD

Track record of applying economic principles and mental models (marginal analysis, risk optimization, opportunity cost) to guide decision-making and trade-offs
