Project and Policy Analyst

Responsibilities

Writing and editing grant proposals and manuscripts for collaborative projects
Participating aligned with project timelines and grant deadlines
Contributing to project development by providing valuable input
Assisting with laboratory initiatives such as organizing background materials
Summarizing experimental rationales for inclusion in grants or manuscripts
Tracking project milestones
Ensuring alignment between experimental plans and funding or publication requirements
Coordinating experiment planning
Recognizing the type of methods expected solely for the purpose of organizing grant or manuscript sections
Aligning timelines
Ensuring appropriate documentation is requested and incorporated
Delivering regular updates through email communication
Facilitating collaboration with the Principal Investigator and lab members
Prompt distribution of necessary documents to support ongoing research activities

Required

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
Minimum 1+ year of directly relevant experience required
Working knowledge of common organization- or research-specific and other computer application programs
Proficient in ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality
Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Demonstrates ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns
Demonstrates ability to analyze, research and synthesize large amounts of data with strong attention to detail
Working knowledge of applicable policy analysis techniques
Proficient in ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes
