Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction, mentoring team members to drive organizational maturity
Consult with development teams to ensure platform fit is aligned to the business application requirements
Understanding of APIs, micro-services development, containers and supporting platform technologies is also required
Automating CI / CD needs on RedHat OpenShift / OCP, Linux, Windows, SQL Server, Oracle, etc
Creating ADO Build and Deploy Pipelines to build Apps and container images and deploy using standard ADO tasks
Producing Documents for Process and Automation
Troubleshoot the application issues in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform environment
Creating Build, Deployment, and other CRD config files for applications on OpenShift
Creating Docker and S2I images, Stateful sets and converting existing docker image to an S2I image and vice versa
Maintaining docker Image Repository like Quay
Creating docker files, images, and containers
Work collaboratively with teams to ensure our products are successfully deployed, upgraded, and maintained
Elastic stack administration, performance and capacity management including Index curation/retention management
Logstash and pipeline configuration and grok experience
Working knowledge of Elastic Beats Filebeat, Heartbeat
Working Experience with SonarQube/Coverity/Black Duck and integrating into ADO Pipelines and Pull Request flows
Understanding and debugging Java errors
Strong Knowledge of SSL, TCP/IP Networking, LDAP
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Self-starter with excellent organization, planning, detail-oriented documentation, and time management skills
Clear and precise verbal and written communication skills
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience working on Kubernetes
8+ years of experience working on OpenShift
8+ years of experience in Linux shell scripting
5+ years as an expert in application containerization management
5+ years of experience in DevSecOps practices, infrastructure, scripting/programming
Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), Designing and Implementing ADO Wiki, Work Item structures, Pipelines, ADO GIT repos/branches/Pull Requests, and related Standards and Processes
Hands on experience in automating CI / CD needs on RedHat OpenShift / OCP, Linux, Windows, SQL Server, Oracle, etc
Experience creating ADO Build and Deploy Pipelines to build Apps and container images and deploy using standard ADO tasks and for old and new Java and .Net Apps and integrating with Apache Tomcat, JBoss, SQL Server, Windows, Linux, Oracle, etc
Experience producing Documents for Process and Automation
Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift V4
Troubleshoot the application issues in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform environment
Experience in creating Build, Deployment, and other CRD config files for applications on OpenShift
Hands-on experience in creating Docker and S2I images, Stateful sets and converting existing docker image to an S2I image and vice versa
Working knowledge on OpenShift/Kubernetes and Container Orchestration, Custom Helm charts
Knowledge on maintaining docker Image Repository like Quay
Experience and ability to creating docker files, images, and containers
Work collaboratively with teams to ensure our products are successfully deployed, upgraded, and maintained
Deep knowledge and experience with Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) version 8.X and higher
Elastic stack administration, performance and capacity management including Index curation/retention management
