C.H. Robinson is seeking an Associate Customs Entry Writer to join our Global Forwarding division. In this role, you will navigate customs processes, manage documentation for U.S. Customs, and ensure compliance with regulations while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Explore the complexities of Customs processes and engage with international trade regulations

Manage the receipt, review, and input/transmission of documentation for United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) release

Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain proper documentation for shipments

Showcase proficiency in customs brokerage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices

Maintain accurate databases for Customer SOPs and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)

Oversee customer invoicing and contribute to accounts receivable/payable activities

Honor customer-specific SOPs for a personalized approach, while upholding high operational standards to ensure exceptional performance and customer service

Communicate effectively with Customers, C.H. Robinson offices, Agents, and Outside Vendors

Cultivate positive working relationships within the team and efficiently utilize C.H. Robinson’s extensive network and support teams

Required

High school diploma or GED
