Responsibilities

Provide college-wide leadership for clinical placements across all Health Professions
Cultivate new and diverse partnerships with hospitals, clinics, and community organizations
Serve as the primary liaison with executive-level administrators at clinical sites
Lead marketing and promotion of health profession programs to partners and the community
Negotiate and manage affiliation agreements and contracts
Develop a centralized tracking system for contracts/contacts/updates with regular reports to program directors and administration
Represent the College at regional workforce initiatives, advisory boards, and healthcare consortia
Support grant writing and workforce development efforts
Ensure site-level compliance processes are standardized, while program directors and support staff maintain program-specific requirements
Provide ongoing reviews of clinical collaboration effectiveness and share results with programs to improve program quality and program outcomes
Work directly with Program staff related to clinical placement clearance requirements
Assist in the design, maintenance, and implementation of all forms and paperwork used in the clinical placement phase, including clinical preparation software, IT processes, and vendors that support these processes
Assist in state and accreditation reporting as it relates to clinical placements
Works collaboratively with programs in coordinating cross discipline opportunities
Participate in professional development activities, both departmental and college-wide, especially in connection to statewide initiatives affecting clinical placement
Assist in preparing the annual unit level program review for the school
Assist in the preparation for and participate in accreditation visits and Advisory Board meetings
Meet regularly with the Dean, Associate Dean and lead program faculty, to assess the immediate and long-term needs of clinical placement
Perform other duties as assigned by the College administration or required by the program accrediting bodies

Required

Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
At least three years of administrative experience, or equivalent, preferably at the community college level
Working knowledge of medical terminology, clinical workflows, and healthcare delivery systems
Principles of current issues involving community, economic development, curriculum development and disciplines in the School of Health Professions
State and federal laws related to clinical education and practices
The diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of community college students and anti-racism practices that promote equity and success in our BIPOC (black, indigenous and people of color) students
Current technology and organizational systems
Effective written and verbal communication skills with members of the community
Ability to communicate and build professional relationships across diverse healthcare settings
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards
Ability to work with an equity-minded framework that is highly committed to social justice and anti-racism practices
Ability to learn, use, and implement new technologies as tools for learning, teaching, administering and generally improving the work area or scope of work
Ability to exercise sound judgment in the performance of job duties
High degree of professionalism and integrity
Ability to operate effectively in an environment of change and ambiguity
Vision and energy to plan and organize clinical opportunities to enhance student success
Ability to conduct effective public presentations through effective interpersonal communication skills
Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft office products such as PowerPoint, word, excel and outlook for forms preparation and information organization and distribution
Possession of valid California Motor Vehicle Operator's License

Preferred

Master's Degree Preferred
Experience in the area of healthcare, accreditation, and marketing preferred
