Responsibilities
Read and comprehend detailed and complex medical information, either handwritten or typed, from patient medical records
Identify cancer cases in Epic and do a minimal data abstraction for research and operational purposes
Maintain high quality of abstracted data as determined by co-worker review, user feedback, and other data-review mechanisms
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Two years of experience in tumor registry, healthcare, or related field
Ability to satisfy and maintain all requirements necessary to ensure the continued security and integrity of critical infrastructure
Preferred
Cancer Registrar certified
Currently enrolled in a Cancer Registrar program
