Responsibilities
Use Inventor/ AutoCad software to create detailed 3D designs for complex projects for turnkey power generation solutions
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to develop accurate and complete schematics
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Perform quality checks on completed schematics to ensure accuracy
Maintain organized and accurate records of schematics and related documentation
Continuously improve skills and knowledge related to drafting and AutoCAD software
Assist the team with equipment drawings and installation/testing
Collaborate with engineers to develop accurate technical specifications and RFQ’s
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in drafting, preferably with mechanical systems
3+ years of industry-related experience or an associate degree in a technical field
Proficient in AutoCAD and related software
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies and industry practices
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Experience with the installation, operation, or troubleshooting of industrial automation equipment
Extensive knowledge and proficiency with the company's preferred software. (AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical/Mechanical, Excel) and the ability to learn new software quickly
Experience with SolidWorks
Ability to take direction from engineering team and work independently to design systems per project design specifications
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards
