C.H. Robinson is a leader in supply chain solutions, and they are seeking an Accounts Payable Representative to join their Robinson Fresh Accounts Payable team. This role is responsible for processing payments, managing supplier maintenance, and resolving payment-related inquiries to ensure deadlines are met.

Responsibilities

Process payments and supplier maintenance in accordance with Service Level Expectations (SLAs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Respond to vendors with payment status utilized through team shared inbox

Research and resolve all related inquiries (including payment disputes, price, and quantity discrepancies)

Communicate with employees and suppliers to resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner

Review supplier statements as part of payment inquiry resolution

Provide timely communication and escalation of issues requiring support to Accounts Payable Supervisor or Manager

Contribute ideas for process improvement

Participate in and support department projects and company initiatives as required

Develop professional relationships with internal and external partners, maintain open lines of communication and build rapport by providing timely and professional service

Continue to develop skills and build upon knowledge of Accounts Payable processes

Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team

Required

High School diploma or GED equivalent

2+ years of experience using accounting/payables principals

1+ year of experience with MS Office programs

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Positive, professional attitude and excellent customer service skills with an ability to deal with conflict/sensitive topics

Experience working in Famous software platform

Bilingual (Spanish specifically) is a plus
