The role involves identifying nonconforming products, reporting issues, and ensuring proper documentation and quality control processes are followed.

Responsibilities

Conducts sampling, product testing, and visual inspection of components and/or finished goods; identifying nonconforming materials and ensuring proper containment as required

Report all product nonconformance issues to Quality Management, and Production Supervisor

Initiates Quality Holds (QNs) and ensures the notifications are completed accurately and completely

Engages in Safety, Quality, Production and Plant related programs as required (Safety Observations, Safety Gemba)

Record the results of inspections, tests, and audit findings on the appropriate forms and/or in the Quality Module of SAP. Completes accurate, timely, and legible documentation of all inspection/testing data

Stat sample or contain hold products as applicable per the appropriate specification requirements

Reads and interprets sampling plans to determine sample size and/or accept/reject criteria

If an identified Trainer, train new hire/transferred inspectors to inspect product per the appropriate specifications and utilize all gauges/ equipment pertaining to Quality Assurance testing
